I received my six cycles of chemo, and I am happy to say I experienced very little hair loss. My grandchildren at no point even thought I was sick, and, I continued to work six days a week—never missing a day. My personal opinion is that every cancer patient should have the opportunity I was given if they are scared about losing their hair. With all the powerful and toxic drugs that have to be put into our bodies to help us survive, it’s hard to feel like you have a choice when battling cancer.
